Can you clay the rims?
Everyone keeps saying how dangerous brake dust is, so I was wondering if I should clay the rims before I Zaino them? I wouldn't want any dust to get embedded into the zaino and stuck on the wheels. What are everyone's thoughts on this? My rims aren't chrome. I have a G35c with the 18" wheels.
I guess you could as long as they are painted.
But the stock rims on my Z seem to clean up really easily. Almost doesn't look like a paint. Looks like some sort of an enamel or something.

On a side note. I clayed my car when I first got it now after 5 months I noticed how rough the paint felt, so I have begun claying sections at a time and the difference in smoothness is amazing. We must have a lot of contaminants in the air here in Louisiana.

you only clay your car once... so yeah I guess you could clay your wheels while your there... but dont do it after that or you'll remove the old zaino
