Default OMGWTFBubbleGum!!!

It's all over my driver's side.

Apperently, I've run over a sizable wad of bubble gum, on a hot sunny day. I was able to peel a large chunk from the car, but there are several other areas. When I originally found it, it looked like that silly string stuff, until I touched it.

Anything special I should know about gum removal before I just go at it with soap and water?

Thanks,

Ryan

Gum can be removed with cold or a petroleum distillate. There is little point in holding a ice cube to the gum. WD40 will work fine.

to remove the gum, freeze it by holding a bottle of PC duster upside down, and spraying it. once it is cold, it wont be 'gummy' and should be able to just pick it off...

but no guarantees about what it will do to the paint!?

same thing happened to me. i removed as much as i can by hand, and used a clay bar to get the rest off. worked perfectly. if it doesn't wd40 or goo gone would work i bet.

+1 on the WD40 or Goo Gone. My company carriers a liquid called D-Gel. It work wonders on removing sticky crap from your paint.
