Does the direction of buffing matter?

Ok, so when applying Zaino, its top to bottom and front to back. Should I buff in the same manner? What about Z-6? Should I apply Z-6 the same way i apply z-5/z-2?

As far as buffing the polish off and Z-6ing, there is no certain way to do it.
