the best way to put it is its a polish. yea people say its expensive when a bottle of z2 pro costs maybe 5 dollars more than meguires off the shelf. i got a box of mother's clay bar from autozone and it costs me the same as 2 bars of zaino clay bars. zfx z6 and the new z8 is what costs a lot.

 

Z2/Z5 are not polishes, they are synthetic sealants. They are branded as polishes because it's a word consumers understand. The only real polish in the Zaino line is Z-PC. Z2/Z5 are polymer sealants like Klasse SG, Menzerna FMJ, Poorboys EX-P, 4* UPP, Werkstatt Acrylic Jett, etc, etc...
