Default Wheel Cleaners

I have an 06 Enthusiast with the 18s that look like the 05 Anniversary style, and I want to keep them clean. Any suggestions on good wheel cleaners that will safely clean and not ruin the wheels.... I've been reading posts that always recommend using the "correct" wheel cleaner or risk damaging the wheel's finish..... but unfortunately I haven't read a post that suggests an actual cleaner by name. Give me your thoughts. Thanks

use wheel brush and car wash soap/water to agitate, clean & rinse throughly with h2O

NEVER use a brush or liquid cleaner on your wheels, you will get scratches and eventually cause you rims to look like crap. the best thing to do is to wash them frequently and use wheel wax.

The OEM wheels are painted just like the car. I recommend:

a. Rinse
b. Spray bottle with 50/50 solution of car wash/water. Spray liberally and let sit for 5 minutes
c. Agitate with a mitt. For the inside of the wheels use a special purpose long brush. Each spoke has 3 square indentations. I use a tooth brush.
d. Rinse
e. Dry with leaf blower
f. Wax when you wax the car.

Do not use Turtle Wax brand wheel cleaner, there was someone who made a thread while back, about damaging his clear coat.....as David said, treat the wheels like the body

non phosphorus soap, rinse with de-ionized water, dry with micro fiber towel and apply wheel wax.

That stuff really works! (Used it on Volvo, Suby and G35 OEM rims without any problems)
Out of everything I"ve tried, this stuff is by far the best imo.
