Default wax and clear bra

main question is, should i wax before i get the clear bra installed?

and

when installed is waxing over the clear bra going to diminish any swirls and what not that was left because i didnt wax the car prior to the clear bra installation?

You are not suppost to wax before you install a clear bra or it will have a difficult sticking against the surface. In fact, you're suppost to de-wax before you install a clear bra. If you have swirls already, you might want to get your car detailed and have the swirls removed because it will still show thru the vinyl (clear bra).

noriphung,

We're trying to get a group buy for the clearbra. The cost of it install would be $303, which is a STEAL. We need one more person to complete the deal. Go into the regional southern california section of the forum for more information.

As for waxing the clearbra after install, yes, you can and should always do it. The 3M clear bra has a coat of clearcoat on it (just like the car's paint does) that needs to be looked after.

If there is a tint shop that installs 3M tint then most likely they will install the clear bra

I didn't know you had clearbra... does yours go over the whole hood or just halfway?

Most clear bras usually go up to about half the hood (where the headlight cuts off). That is unless you custom order it for the whole hood.

yup, like highside107 said, it stops just past my headlight, probably 2 feet up the hood. I also have it on my bumper, fenders, headlights, and mirrors.

by the way, on an unrelated note I just put a PM to Yobri to change my username
