I have a hunch that the cloth will shrink and pull if wet, but try a small area and post the results.

You hosed your seats down? How long did it take for them to dry?

took about 6 hours on a 90 degree day.... just left them in the sun.... the detail guys do it all the time at our dealership to clean the seats on our trade ins before they go onto the lot...

ive done it a few times on my z.... no problems... its best to spray them outside the car and let them sit outside and dry. if you put them in the car wet then it will get a musty smell.... speak from experiance

So you guys are saying its okay to pull them off and do it but not just do it in while the seats are in the car right?
