Default Bugs

I live in the country and encounter alot of bugs. Any chemicals/sprays/waxes that would be benefical in keeping the bug amounts low?

I wash my car every other day because the bug splats bother me and I just look forward to finding a solution!

I know for motorhomes they have a special spray where bugs have a harder time stickin and slide off really. I just want to know if there is anything like this for cars?

Thanks,
KC

Wax the front end really well to make the surface more slick. The clear bra helps quite a bit. To get the bugs off (this will sound crazy) but try using a dryer sheet---apparently it works really well

That is nothing more than a fancy packaged non-stick cooking spray aka PAM.

LOL. Pam was my first thought. If bugs are extreme, both Pam and WD40 will help. But I think this method is overkill.

Clearbra or Zaino. I wish I would have bought a clearbra when the car was new mainly because of the rock chips. I DID heavily Zaino the front of the car and have had no problems with bug guts sticking or eating through the clearcoat/paint.

It's always a good idea to wash them off ASAP but even when that has not been possible (1 or 2 days before washing) I still haven't had any problems with bugs.

Lots and lots of wax. I honestly don't know if I would spray the front of my car with Pam or a substitute of it. The clear bra is another route you could go as well. If they're baked on there really good clay will take them off with no effort. Just be sure to rewax anything you use the clay on.

The best way i hav efound to remove bugs is that drier sheet stuff. When you wet it, it makes this slick material and it REALLY kills those bugs right off. Even the baked on ones. it works about as good as claybar, but its not abrasive like claybar is (from what i hear). Ive been using it since I got my car, and have no bug marks on my car.

Does this work on all breeds of Texas bugs even the prehistoric ones?
