Default Dumb Question #1

Sorry,

per the enclosed instructions spray on the clear and wipe with "micro fiber."

I want to make sure I do this correctly, so what exactly is this micro fiber?

I have special towels made for car washing without scratching but I'm not sure that they are "micro fiber."

That's ok. As long as it's something doesn't hurt the body surface.....

Question: When I get ready to apply, should I strip the wax from the car since I regularly waxed it, or just use the CG over it?

Still don't have it, but I imagine us east-coasters are delayed a bit by UPS.

I think it's ok... Use CG Wash to wash your car first. It helps preparatoin of surface. That's enough, I think.

Just spray the wash solution on a wet car and use a wash mit, or do I dilute the wash in a bucket of water like normal car soap?

I understand the other steps with the spray and wipe but I am confused with the wash step.

Thanks!

I didn't have enough to spray the car so I diluted it in a water bucket and it worked fine.
I replied to your pm.

Just hose water first then spray wash using only 1/4 of bottle around the car and it works good.

Default Thanks!

Tako, thanks for sending the two bottles. In the instructions, it notes that one bottle is supposed to be clear - the wash - and without sediment. Both bottles came to me with sediment and smelled the same, so I assume they are both CrystalGuard, right?
Is the wash really necessary?
thanx,
