Default Best tire shine (for a wet look)

ya'll know what im talking about, when your at a Car dealership and all the used car's have that wet, BLACK tire shine look to the ol tyres, How the heck do I replicate this on my Z...?

I bought some meguiars tyre shine spray 2 weeks ago, ive used 1/2 the bottle already, 2nd go around with this stuff the shine lasted like 2 days then starts to fade bad

I cleaned my Z sunday nite while the sun was about to go down, after cleaning the rims (darn brake dust) I shined my tires to perfection, and they looked good, for about 24 - 36hrs

I want something better, something that will atleast last 7-10 days before re-applying...

any suggestions?

I'd prefer to get something local from ya know Autozone, Napa, Advance auto parts... p.s Ive used armourall and im not that impressed with it, but it was a few years back, dont know whats on the market now...

what works for you??

Gav.

Mequiars Endurance High Gloss lasts and lasts. Buy one of the foam applicators to apply it. (No lint that way)

+1. This is stuff is amazing. Nice shiny/glossy look, and it stays for quite some time. No "spray off" when driving like some of the cheaper brands do.

Oh, and it has a nice grape smell to it as well

Mequiars Endurance High Gloss here. That stuff is amazing the only thing I dont like about shinning my tires is the dirt that it collects after a day or two.

ARMOR ALL TIRE FOAM!! Its the best ive used.... you just spray it all the dirt comes off and leaves a shine that lasts for a week or depending on usage

Hey Gavkiwi,

I'd say + 1 on the Meguiar's high endurance tire gel or even the NXT tire shine is good. The best way to ensure a lasting shine on your tires is ensuring that your tyres are properly cleaned and completely dried before putting any tyre shine. Especially the NXT, must be sprayed onto a dry tire.

The stuff I use to clean my tires you can't buy in the USA.

Cheers
