Drying MY 350Z?
Hi, I have trouble drying my black 350Z because of water spots. I've bought a chamois but I don't know if its safe for my clear coat. Please any suggestion on what to use to dry?
I just tried something today that worked really well on my SB......
1 - W/ nozzle off, sheet the water off from top to bottom. This get most of the water to run off.....
2- Use a thick bath towel and LAY over wet spots but DO NOT rub/wipe, instead, pat lightly and Peel towel off and continue to other wet spots. Do the same to the rest of the car. (car will still be damp)
3 - use a soft micro fiber towel and softly wipe all the damp spots.
That's it, sounds like alot but took me about 5 minutes to completly dry the whole car and there was no micro-marring.
hope that helps

[B]Buy a "big blue" towel or two. Works perfectly.
that's what i use, it works great..and it is supposed to be softer than a chamois...and it absorbs a lot.
