Default Small Surface Scratches?

Does wax or any other product fill in or hide small surface scratches? They're so small that I can't even feel them when running my fingers over them.... I'm hoping something will fill them in or cover them without having to paint, so that they can't be seen anymore.....

Yes you can layer any type of wax after the ZPC. It did wonders on my Redline after the dealer put crazy swirls in the paint!

Depends on how bad the scratches are. If you have to ask about a fix, I recommend a professional. Why experiment and potentially make the situation worse?

If they are just those little swirls, then yes, they can be removed. I would recommend checking out autopia.org (largest car care site/forum). You would need to "polish" those swirls out.

First of all, what color is your car? Of course, darker colors will show surface scratches much more than the lighter cars. I've tried LOTS of filler waxes and the best they'll do is cover the scratches for for a very short period of time...very unsatisfying.

The Z-PC (or other polish) used with a random orbital buffer, with the right pads, and right technique, will improve your scratch situation. After polishing the scratches out with the Z-PC and random orbital buffer, you should add a coat of wax (by hand) to protect you newly polished surface.

Check out the polishing I did in this thread:

#1 Wax Shootout

For more info on good products, pads, and technique, check out this site and the videos:

Good Luck!
