If you want super clean, streak-free and spot-free windows come inside...
I use Eagle One Auto Glass cleaner (Stoner's is good, too) with a microfiber towel first. Do not just use a newspaper with glass cleaner, that's a nono.
After making sure there is no residue or anything else on your windows take a piece of newspaper (preferably with a lot of black ink) and crumple it up into a ball. Now straighten the paper out and fold it into a small square. Make sure the window and the surrounding edges are all dry and proceed to rub the newspaper up and down or side to side (follow the direction the wind blows over your car) until it becomes very smooth.
That's it. Say hello to extremely clear windows!
