Default Claybar on Magnetic Black?

No problem - marring is caused by using a dry bar. Simply re-wet the bar and clay over that section again.

Default clay

i just got an 05 in yellow and i have clayed it twice already. clay is ok to use on all car finishes. however be sure to have the least agressive type of clay. if you were to use the wrong grade you would marr the finish. clay magic blue is the best all around clay. they have a red that is very aggressive and would cause you some grief. also, make sure your car is very clean, and use plenty of water, or other lubricant.

The color of the car is not an issue as you are just claying the clear coat, the clay will never touch the actual pigmented paint layer, keep the clay wet and moving at all times.

I've used a Clay Magic blue bar on my MB Roadster. Works great - no marring. As said before, keeping it and the surface wet is critical.
