I just bought a new set of GTS's.. and I dare not try to use any product on them for cleaning..
question I have is.. I used to use the Armor All Wheel Cleaner on my stock wheels for brake dust and it worked like a champ.. but I am not even thinking about spraying this on my anodized lips on these GTS's.
Anyone know of a proven safe wheel cleaner that would make it a little easier than just soap and water? I do plan on going with different brake pads here soon to cut down on the dust, but regardless, it will be an issue.
If I have to deal with it, thats fine. I would much rather put a little more sweat into cleaning them then have them come out lookin like butt after spraying some product on them...

1) Soap and water ONLY.
2) Wax them good and keep them waxed. That help keep the brake dust (or anything else)from sticking.
3) If you do get dust spot or road tar, etc. Use a claybar with a soapy lubricant to remove anything stuck to the wheels.

What kind of wax do you use? i just use soap and water.......
I put Zaino Z-2 on them just like the rest of the car.
A lot of people swear by a product called (appropriately) "Wheel Wax".

You can pick this up at any Discount Tire Store for $12.95. Great stuff and yes, I swear by it, lol! I have Volks as well and wheelwax is completely safe.
"WheelWax is the only wax for wheels. It cleans, restores and protects in one step!. WheelWax is easy to apply, dries to a haze and buffs to a high shine. WheelWax changes the surface polarity of your wheels to repel brake dust particles.
WheelWax leaves an unbelievably smooth shine on your wheels that brake dust and moisture can't penetrate. This protective coating also makes cleaning your wheels a snap next time you wash your wheels."
