Got Keyed!!!!!!!
For those of you out there whos z's got vandalized i now join the group. How ****ing immature can people be? My car was keyed on the passenger side door!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so ****ing irate!!! I'm soo happy that i don't know who did it. Cuz if I knew I would be going to jail tonight! Cause there would be a misunderstanding if i ever catch the guy! Well besides me rambling on.....does anyone know the best way to fix this? I was thinking about repainting the door? What do you think? Would it really be that hard to match the pikes peak white paint color? Should i go to Nissan dealership? Any info on what i should do would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks guys for listening.
I'm very sorry to hear that! My previous generation, Z32TT was keyed in a very similar manner. I feel your rage and despair and can only offer to commiserate. These kinds of randoms acts truly bewilder me. Utlimately I think it is an expression of jealousy. As for what I would do if I caught him/her? Let's just say this is one of the few things I'd really lose it over.
A detailer friend once told me that if you can feel the scratch by running your finger nail across it, you are unlikely to ever buff it out. I had my (previously PRISTINE) Z door repainted. An ICAR certified body shop can work wonders and I had them use really excellent PPG paint.
Best of luck!

I can sympathise with you. My Z is 4 weeks old and was recently keyed. I'd seriously break the bastards' hands if I could get hold of him (I'm sure it's a jealous male thing). On top of the fender and a $1300 quote because its position requires fender, hood and driver's door to be resprayed. Pain in the ***.
