I've read where people have said that this wax is "easy" to take off.. is it me or is this a load of bull? I've used several Meguiars products and all of them came off like typical wax except for this one.. its almost like it wont dry.. takes a lot of work to get this stuff off the car..
dont get me wrong, once its off I love the end result..
I use the liquid version

anyone else use this wax and have the same results? Would the paste version be different?

I used the paste version of this wax and it was REALLY easy to take off which is one of the reasons I loved it. Definitely the easiest wax to take off that I've used.
I stopped using it because it just doesn't last long at all.

Hmm I thought that black magic wax was crap, the meguiars nxt wax comes off much easier if you use very thin coats and plenty of them I have 3-4 maybe 5 on my z. Also it comes off easier if you put it over polish.

Thats why I tried it, figured it wouldn't hurt. It left a pretty good finished and definitely lasted longer than NXT. My gf's dad said my car was noticeably shinier than NXT.

I created another thread about this product a while back.

The NXT is a good wax as long as you put a few layers on the car. Its durability is not near as good as Zaino or even Eagle One. I personally used NXT and EagleOne on my Prelude and took pics after both times. I could clearly see the areas with minor swirl marks and scratches get filled MUCH BETTER with the EagleOne. The Nanowax impressed me a lot. The NXT im still kind of skeptical, I like the look after a few coats but it seems to come off too easy, and I dont have time to wax my car every other week. The one variable I want to know is the effect of different waxes on different colors. Is it possible that maybe one wax is great on say red, and doesnt look as good on a black colored car. I dont know the in and outs of waxes but any info. would be appreciated. Thanks

i use about a dime size amount on the applicator.. the problem is it wont dry.. or is it not supposed too like a typical wax? It stays greasy almost.. I have to put some serious effort into it to get it all off..... I let it dry for about 20 mins.. one time I left it longer.. same results..
maybe I got a bum bottle ... regardless.. when I am done I have no complaints as it works wonderful. I just dont look forward to waxing it again.
Next time I wax it I will post some pics so you can see what I am talking about..

So I currently use NXT for all the painted areas and Nanowax for the black trim

I also didn't think the Nanowax shine lasted as long as NXT.. but they were both very easy to apply and take off and I like the pump on the Nanowax bottle.. Nanowax also has this strange property where it actually cleans and shines the vinyl areas (bumper trim, side mirrrors, etc..).. NXT just made it all white..

def does that for my redline as well.. a friend noticed instantly that the car had been waxed... and my car always stays clean and detailed..
IM USING NXT right now... looks awesome on black (plus I also clayed/polished). Might try something else that lasts longer... but I don't want to lose the shine.
