Black is delicate paint, and requires extra attention to look its best. If you have scratched the clearcoat, you need a light polish to remove the scratches. Plenty of suggestions in the detailing forum.

You need something that will remove the swirls, not aide in hiding them. This job is very hard by hand. I would suggest purchasing a Porter Cable 7424 and corresponding polishes/pads, I like Optimum Polishes and Edge2k pads, or finding a reputable detailer in your area to take care of it for you. I would recommend the later. PM me if you have any specific questions.

I removed/ hid mine by using first washing, meguiars gold class wash, meguiars clay bar system(any will work) washing again, drying, meguiars deep crystal polish(did it once) inspected, Looked at the bad areas and used scratch x(by meguiars) went over complete car to make sure everything was dry and I had no polish/ scratch x residue. Then I put a coat of the deep crystak polish on it, to make sure it was all uniform. Then use a wax of your choice, I used nxt, but it already is gone in some places. Use that black magic of yours, its suposed to be really good.
