Default First Time Detailing Z Im using Meguiars

hola and happy friday!

I purchased an immaculate 03 track last week with 20 odo. Been garaged and looks lovely, the previous owner was an enthusiast and really took care of it. I am preparing to wash/polish/wax this weekend as pollen is ridiculous around here.

I have done some pretty extensive research here and online, and the folks at the fairfax body shop really recommended the 123 Meguiars Deep Crystal Kit. I plan on using a claybar, followed by the 123(deep clean/polish/wax), maybe an extra coat of wax. i noticed that the wax is liquid. I noticed there seems to be some divide about liquid vs tins. Is there a reason why I may want to not purchase step 3 liquid carnuba, and opt for something else like a tin of paste? Granted, the paint is in excellent condition, and it is chrome silver, so it already looks nice. I am not going to be OCD (8 hours of detailing), however, I have set aside about 4 hours to devote to the wash/clay/polish/wax.

Soo... in the end, will it matter if I stick with the program and use the liquid? any insight will be read and appreciated

paste will usually last far longer than liquid...which will make your 4h very worth it.

though i think it will take slightly more than 4h to wash, claybar, polish, wax.
