I'm not a fan of armor all products because they contain silicon which gives that greasy look and dries out the natural moisture/oils in vinyl and leather. Use a product like 303 Aerospace, Blue Magic or Lexol which are silicon free and protect without leaving a greasy residue

the tacky residue collects a lot of dust in a short period of time... Better off just wiping your dash with a damp cloth and like it.

Actually, that's one huge point I forgot to address. The best thing for your interior is plain old soapy water, followed by clear water.

i was against it when my car was new. Nothing touched the interior except warm water. Now that my car is 4 years old, i thought "what the hell" i put LIGHT layer of armor all on the interior. It does give it somewhat of a "shiny" "greasy" look but i thought it improved the interior almost back to new. I dont get out of control with it, and probably only use a light coat once a month. No complaints here, i mean i guess it can only stay new so long.

Another bad thing about armor all including tire foam which im sure a ton of poeple on here use.... once you start using it you can never stop. It will deteriate the quality and look of what you spray on it untill you coat it again.

+1 Aerospace is the best protectant I have ever used. No greasy feel and nice clean look.

Its been water based for a long time now, and no longer dries out the vinyl/leather. This is an old myth and no longer applies to the reformulated product. If you like the look of shinny plastic, it works fine. I preffer 303 on all of my interior plastic/leather though

Armor all vinyl protectant still contains a water-based silicon emulsion formula. Although no longer oil-based, I prefer not to use anything containing silicon.

I wouldn't ever use it. I've heard too much bad/questionable stuff about it...I don't care if its reformulated, there are other proven good products out there - yeah, like the 303 line.

armor all has a lot of petroleum, petroleum will break down the interior faster, the turtle wax F21 is pretty good stuff thats what I use

I stand corrected.....after an application a few hours ago I feel a "slickness" on the surface on the door panel, though I can't assume it is harmful to the molecular structure of the door panel material. It has a very low lustre sheen to the appearance.

davidv....if you would rather use Hellmann's vs. Armor All, be careful to not sit on the bottle....particularly once the seal has been broken and with the top off.....your preferences could possibly change.

a little bit of ammonia diluted with water. it cleans away everything and keeps the "shine" from getting ridiculous.
