Question Cleaning the inside of the hatch window...positioned...how???

Ok...prolly a stupid question...but I'd like to know how YOU postion yourself to clean the inside of the the hatch window....

I've tried:

--- Climbing in the back originally...noticing that I have to stand at the edges because the center area is too soft....ending up with my butt usually sitting on the back of the car opening....not my prime choice

--- working from the outside "sides" and "rear", it's a stretch....and you gotta watch out that you don't rub against the paint... only tried that once...never again

--- from the drivers area....forget about it...

So... unless there's some cool NISMO accessory that holds you suspended in the air hanging from the hatch....

I'd love to hear YOUR solutions....

Thanks!

(....can you tell I have nothing better to do tonight?)

You must have short arms. I haven't had a problem cleaning from the sides. Support yourself by holding onto the strut with one hand and lean in and wipe half the window with the other. Reverse and repeat from the other side.

Hi Solar, same as the others, stand outside the Z. The most difficult side to get at as is the left with the aerial. Not too bad though. How about some of the nifty microfibre type brushes or pads on a brush kind of thing that Meguiar's do.

How I clean the rear window...

Stand behind your hatch facing the opposite direction of the car.
Bend backwards and kinda rest the back of your legs on the bumper and use the strut bar for support.
Then use your other hand to wipe down the window.

Easy for me. I'm 6'1".
