Default NXT + ??? Wax interaction

I am looking for another product to use in conjunction with NXT. The durability of NXT is maybe 3-4 weeks out here in California. The shine is great, but I don't want to wash my car every month and HAVE to wax it. I need like a 3 month cycle. Not too easy to get it done in an apartment complex. Involves late night washing with my own hose.

What I am looking for is some type of polymer sealant (acrylic) a.k.a. Nufinish, but without the toxicity, dullness and blandness. There is Klasse, but it's not exactly the poster child of Earth-friendly either.

I don't want to be forced into a Walmart run for the el-cheapo, but durable Nufinish. That stuff could kill you in a few whiffs with all the distillates in there.

Also, what could be the interaction, chemical or just visual with using NXT plus something else? Assuming the other product is not a cleaner wax, will a sealant take the NXT off?

Dont' say Zaino, just another more readily available wax-sealant.

well, i'd still use the Klasse AIO. It works great and lasts me atleast 2-3 months at the minimum. Some say it last 6 months but i not with me.

There's an easy solution. Pick a one-step with better shine and better durability.

if you want to try a good, cheap sealant...give Duragloss products a try. from experience, i can recommend the DG 601/105 combo...then top with AquaWax.

CarQuest carries these locally...otherwise order from Duragloss directly. they should have flat-fee shipping.

To answer the other question, a sealant will not take NXT techwax off it will layer it. I used to layer NXT with natty's blue. This was a couple years ago. Then I got tired of NXT not being as durable, it only lasted 2 or 3 months. So I started using Poorboys EX-P toppped with Natty's blue still .
