Default hot sauce all over the driver side of my Z

I woke up this morning and noticed that some jerk stepped on about 3 or 4 taco hot sauce packets next to my Z which sprayed all over the driver side door and rear fender...

Does hot sauce affect the paint in any way? It's pretty hot today and the act was probably done at sometime during the night. It's set on the car pretty well but should come off hopefully...

I've heard of spray paint, eggs, bird crap, and other common types of vandalism done to cars, but taco sauce??

thanks in advance for the help

Add some lettuce and cheese and dig in!!! j/k.....i feel for ya.

I think it would depend on the heat index of the sauce. Pepper oils can have a corrosive effect, not sure if it's strong enough to eat through the clear coat or any wax you may have on the car tough. I would suggest washing it off ASAP and getting a fresh coat of wax on there if you see no visible blemishes.

I'm not exactly sure what will happen from it but I highly recommend removing it as soon as possible. I believe it has the potential to light etch in to your clear coat, especially if it's in direct sun. I would wash it ASAP and be careful not to scrub the area too firmly so you don't add lots of micro-scratches to the clear coat. Let us know if you need help removing the sauce or if you need help removing any of the light etchings. Good Luck!

Then the next day there was some big spots of what looked like bird sht from a distance but when I got up close it was clear. Almost skeet lookin it's gross I have no ememies at school probably just some dck who gets off on messing with other peoples stuff.

No, I think i figured it out someone liked it so much they rubbed one out on it. Thats seriously what it looked like it was one big spot and a few smaller ones all around the center of my hood. I guess my z is just to damn sexy.

Hot sauce has nothing in it that will harm paint, but its an annoyance. Just dont get it on your hands and Pee....Thats REALLY an annoyance
