ok, so I was in my bathroom, goin pee. and looked at the marble counter, what did I see??? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE swirl marks(yeah I think Ive lost it).

so I got to thinkin... this is so totally controllable... what if I zainoed the counter? hmmmm could it help the swirl marks? I think Im headin to the garage to get some zaino Z2, see if it can make a difference.

I just cleaned my bathroom this afternoon. so its nice and clean.

Ill take pics tomarrow, and then perhaps if I get Z5/CG next time I can compare.

Z5 should do a better job of covering the swirls. I'd love to see how the CG compares.

anyway, Ive put 3 coats onto the marble, and well, theres a difference, but not AMAZING or anything. defintily pretty shiny, and water beads really good.

and yes I did the full prep, began with soft scrub to get it clean, then clayed the counter, then applied Z1, and then Z2, damn I forgot Z6, but Ill start using that now.

the swirl marks are horrible, and you can see the reflection of the vanity bulbs in the counter, making the swirl marks incredably apparent, if it can remove these swirl marks in even 100 coats... Ill be amazed.

counter is 10 years old. solid black marble.

 

WOW! I just took off the 4th coat, and applied Z6, DAMN, you wouldnt believe the difference it made. the line goes from dull black to SHINY black, but swirl marks remain... of course.

however I think they are improving. 5th coat is applied. let it dry overnight, as I dont have ZFX.
