For a "new car application" of Zaino, here's what I do:

1) Wash car with dawn dishwashing liquid. This will get all the grease/oils off the car. I mix dawn & water in a spray bottle. I wet the car with a hose (car MUST be in the shade), then spray the dawn/water on the car and rub with a clean cotton cloth. I use a bucket of clean water to rinse the cloth (change this water OFTEN).

2) Dry the car. I use an "Absorber" synthetic chamois, then follow up with Zaino Z-6 spray and a cotton towel

3) Clay the car. I mix Zaino Z-7 carwash and water in a spray bottle. I put my clay through a pasta roller to make a "pancake." I spray the Z-7 on a section of the car (about a 2'x2' area) and rub the clay pancake in the wet area. I then fold the pancake in half (dirty-side in) and run it through the roller again. Spray the next area, and repeat....

4) Rinse the car. Use a hose (no nozzle) to stream water over the car to rinse off the Z-7. I'll use a soft cloth to help release anything that is still sticking to the car.

5) Dry again - same as step 2.

6) Apply a THIN coat of Zaino Z-1 (do NOT wipe it off) followed by a coat of Zaino Z-2. Optionally, you can activate your Z-2 with ZFX, which means you don't need Z-1.

(If you use Z-1, insert a 1 hour wait here. If you use ZFX, insert a 15 MINUTE wait here)

7) Wipe off the polish with cotton towel

(if you use Z-1, insert 24 HOUR wait here... If you use ZFX, insert 30 MINUTE wait here)

8) Spray & wipe with Z-6 using a clean cotton towel.

9) Apply a second coat of Z-2. No need to use Z-1 or ZFX.

10) Wipe off the 2nd coat with a clean towel

11) FINAL WIPE with Z-6 and a clean towel.
