Default Which QD for polymers?

Ok, so I normally use Meguiar's Final Inspection with my wax finishes.. but if I switch to Zaino or Blackfire, can I still use Final Inspection? Will that cause problems with additional layers bonding properly? Or do I have to switch to that specific brand's QD product?

You want to use the detailer made for the product you are using. Mequiars has its detailer, Zaino has its detailer, etc.

If you use a detailer that has silicones, wax or oils in it on a Zaino finish, you will need to wash with Dawn to remove the oily residue before applying the next coat of Zaino.

FI works well because it does not contain any carnuba ingredients. So its safe to use on both sealants or carnuba based waxes. I have Blackfire on mine and I just started using FI. Works really well... works just as good as the Blackfire QD spray, which was $15... not gonna pay that much again. You can buy a whole gallon of FI for around $20.. good deal IMO

Thats what the guy at properautocare said on the phone.. said FI is a synthetic, so it should be fine to use. I was a bit leary though, because the guy didn't sound that convincing.
