Default hmm, black marks on my car...how to remove?

I have black scuffs on my hood, im guessing from cleaning my car off with the snow brush, but they arent SCRATCHES, they dont break clearcoat or paint...

but rubbing with my finger they dont come off...

is there somethign I can use to get this off?

Thanks,

Try a clay bar. Use real clay, not a liquid.

Meguiar's makes a paint cleaner and a paint polish and either one will probably remove the scuffs for you. If you want to go all out, use a Meguiar's clay bar followed by the paint cleaner and paint polish. Finish off with a couple of coats of NXT Gen 2 wax and you'll have a good looking car.

I love the smell of NXT2! Try Meguiar's scratch remover with a microfiber towel. Make sure to clay bar if you don't want swirl marks b/c you are probably going to have to rub hard.

I used turtle wax polishing compound to get paint off my car from people opening their doors against my car. It worked really well. It got rid of the paint completely...but not the dent

try a clay bar as stated above or a polish like said. But if these dont work you could try a mild abbrasive compound but be carefull use the least abbrasive at first. then after usign that polish to remove any imperfictions that may have left then wax. But a polish or clay bar should do the trick i would say the polish will do it. clay bar may just clide over the scuffs.

I have a solar orange z and I'm sure I had the same black scuff marks you are talking about. I used a claymagic clay bar and they wiped right off.
