Among the Zzz boards I read there have been at least a half dozen posts from Zers who have used Armor All on the inside door panels. Immediately followed by a "help" post on the web sites. Its leaves a "blotchy" finish.

Having done the same thing, though on a small are, thought I'd post a warning here.

use 303 Space Protectant or similar prduct.

 

Yeh it wears away at your interior, that's some strong stuff.

 

It is also responsible for the foggy residue you get on the windows on a hot day.

Amorall dries out your interior, gotta use something silicone based.

 

Armor All IS SILICON based. 303 is NOT.

That's one reason it is better.

How do you get the 303 to apply evenly

 

lol...once I sat in the Z and saw the funky looking interior material...I had a feeling it wouldn't be armor all friendly.

 

just for my 303 sampler over the mail. Haven't applied it yet, but the enclosed literature states that 303 maintains a top coat over the plastic trim to keep it from cracking.

 

I use vinylex, from lexol, but application is the key. I use a well worn terrycloth wax application sponge on my interior, including doors, very successfully.

303 Aerospace Protectant is the stuff to use; available at Autozone, on the web, and most marine stores...
