Default Operation Wash and Wax

I received my Zaino the other day and want to go ahead and wash my Z with Dawn as per the instructions. I only have one problem: The LAW!

Here in Georgia we are in a drought and the State as well as the County have imposed water restrictions. These restrictions prohibit washing your car using municipal water. This sucks!

What will I do? I plan on waking up at 3:00 or 4:00 am Sunday morning so I can wash, clay and then wash again before anyone in the neighborhood wakes up.

Yep, I'm an outlaw.

I go to the local coin wash, and just detail there for 5 hours, lol. people walk up and say **** to you but just ignore them and keep workin. lol just don't go on a saturday when they are busy, people get real pissy when there is a line to wash cars and they see your car is all dry and your going over it with clay and they have no idea what you are doing.

One guy came up and was like your suppose to do detailing out 'there' (out there was directly under the sunlight) I looked at him, and just told him he was dumb.

it does suck not being able to wash cars in your driveway, I wash it sometimes here at my shop but thats after work and i'm too tired to do any detailing then.

but yea if your not comfortable with people getting pissed off at you, you should def. wash your car at 4am and just bring your car into the garage and start your buffing and ****

I thought about going to the coin wash, but wasnt too thrilled with the idea of all the back and forth.

I think I will just grab my cammies and facepaint and do a covert op...

If I dont check in Monday, come bail me out of water jail.

I thought about detailing there, but it would just pi** me off knowing I have a perfectly good garage at home!

If they bust me I will just play dumb (no big stretch). I think any first offense is a warning. If I keep my usage below 25mins and have a nozzle with an auto shutoff they wont F with me too bad.

But at 3:00am I doubt anyone will even notice...

I would love to, but there is no drain in the floor.

If there was, that would be the perfect solution!

You got that right my friend. It would make a royal mess in my garage, plus I would probably manage to get water in the basement as well. Not good!

I do indeed, but unfortunately I cant fit a car through the gate. Our neighborhood has very small back yards.

Go buy 4 or 5 gallons of drinking water.... set them out on display so it looks like you're using that... maybe use a few partially empty ones as well... you could even get a 5 gallon bucket and fill it up inside and take it outside to use... might be a pita though... just some ideas...

Not bad ideas at all! When I do my covert op tomorrow morning at 0400 I will have a couple of drinking water decoys standing by. I love it!

I'm off of Sugarloaf Pkwy. Drop on by! I was thinking about getting some popchargers anyway, and you wont be needing yours anymore...

When my county was on water restriction, I went to the coin wash. Just go to a coin wash and pull through. Take a soap bucket.
