Default Z5 question

I just bought a new 350z and want to Zaino the car. I understand all of the steps but dont understand why you have to use the Z5 for swirl marks if the car is new. I dont think I have swirl marks on my car it has only been washed by the dealer when it was prepped. Thanks in advance.

You DON'T have to. You can go with the Z-2 right away BUT, odds are there are swirls on the car SOMEWHERE. Have you EVER washed it? Did the dealer wash it? Look closely in bright overhead sun and you'll find some I'm sure.

"dealer prep" is the #1 cause of swirls in new cars. A H.S. dropout with a high-pressure hose and a scrubby pad can do more damage to your paint than you'd ever do. I recommend that new car buyers DEMAND no "prep" on their car. Do it yourself and save the headaches.

If you already have your Z-5, go ahead and use it. When you run out, re-order Z-2 instead.
