Is it just me or do microfiber towels seem more harsh than a 100% cotton lint free towel. I haven't bought into the microfiber crap. My theory is if it feels scratchy it is not good for the car. Cotton FTW.

If you really want to test them out, try rubbing the back of a CD or DVD (that you don't really care too much about, or use a blank disk). If it leaves scratch marks, then definitely don't use it on your car!
Detailed Image and I both carry microfiber towels. Support your vendors!

Cotton towels just absorb better I think (not 100% sure). I believe cotton towels also lint a lot more then microfiber, and is not as safe on paint as microfiber is. Get some quality towels and stop getting those autozone junk and you'll see how nice they are. I would never use cotton towels on my car.

Not weird, its made from the same exact stuff other sites sell. Its the 80 20 blend of materials, and I have felt seen and used both, and they work fine. They are 16X16 each.
They are made in China. Maybe its the $.01/hour they pay em that keeps the price down.
