scratches in clearcoat on black rims
When I got my car detailed some idiot used a bristle brush to clean my black rims and he said he uses that brush all of the time on black rims..now I have small scratches all over the rims..what is the best wax to use or best solution for this? please help me I am going nuts lol
Well, first off you wan't to determine if you can actually buff out the scratches. To find out if you can there is a simple test, if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail it can not be buffed out and will need to be repainted. If you can't feel them then I would suggest "Kit Scratch Out" it comes in a yellow container at walmart and costs like $1.50, also buy a polishing cloth to apply/remove it with. Then just go to work.

Use a light/finishing polish and that should remove or minimize the scratches with little chance of harming the wheel. The clearcoat on wheels is no different than the paint on the car, proper polishing and a sealant should be used to maintain and protect them.
