Default Titanium exhaust polish

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would recommend a good polish for a titanium exhaust. Also, it has some scratches on the titanium tips, what should I use to get the scratches out? thanks ahead.

I used Mag one polish. Its in the silver container with the cloth type polish. I used it on my Injen Ti and works great on the tips. Ive heard some polishes can ruin the titanium finish but Mag one works good.

bump! Looking for something i can buy at the local store to give my HKS a good clean / polish before this weekend

And something that's safe to use on exhaust. I heard if you wax an exhaust it can burn and turn brown? Can polish do the same thing?

Store only had Eagle One Never Dull wad polish? Tried that, didn't make it shiny enough. Returned it and got Mothers Chrome Polish. Now it's super shiny

the chrome polish doesnt really polish, although, it is good on removing the dirt from the surface making it shine... I just used it on my exhaust last night.. I have Mother's chrome and metal polishes, I found that polishing is not nescessary after i used the chrome polish as cleaner. Also no discoloration on the Ti tips

hks exhaust is not titanium...only the tips are, and nothing is going to really polish the colored part without taking the coloring off aside from soap and water as mentioned above

Not looking to polish the tips, just the pipe and muffler. Those are dirty and full of water marks.

This here is by far the best metal polish IMO.. Love it, absolutly love it, a little spendy but worth the money.... It will turn your old exhaust lookin brand new again.... Ok now I'm starting to sound like a sales man.... here's the link.. http://www.metalgloss.com/ I use both the metal gloss and the sealer..

Oh what the hell and just to prove that I'm not blowing smoke I did a quick example on how well this stuff works..

Took an ordinary pop can this is before the polish

and After

Just to show some differences between the results one can achieve using the aluminum can test method:

Sorry, no befores but they looked like your typical aluminum can before polishing. The method employed was:
NXT - applied using MF towel and wiped away with clean MF towel
Nevr-dull - applied with supplied wadding and wiped away with clean MF towel
Mothers - applied using MF towel and wiped away with clean MF towel

As can be seen, the NXT gave the smoothest looking shine with Nevr-Dull right behind. The Mothers surprisingly left a bit rougher look.
