Default Black things not coming out with clay bar

If you look really close at my car, there are a few little tiny black hard things in the clear coat. When I had a white car, they were all over the rear bumper. This led me to believe it's due to exhaust. Anway, I noticed today I had some on my Z's spoiler. And the z-18 claybar did not remove them. The only thing that removes them is Meguiars Step 1, but that is too much of a pain to do to all parts of the car. They are not noticeable "specs" in the paint. More of a nuisance than anything. I'm sure other members here with white cars have seen them.

Anyone have the same problem?

on my friends white '01 Corolla... he had the same black spots. it turned out to be rust (WTF!) its a 2001 and has rust already!?! anyways, claybar took it right out. If its not rust... have you tried using a quick detail spray?? if your car is waxed... the detail spray wipes off almost anything stuck on there.
