Default Help with interior cleaning....

So the problem I am having is cleaning my interior (door panels and console). Since the doors and console, for the most part, are a textured surface I am having a problem keeping the cleaner even looking. I'll apply a small bit but it looks splotchy in areas, espically the area where I first start applying the interior cleaner/shiner. I don't want to apply too much and have a greasy look to my car. Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks that could help me with this?

Stay away from ArmorAll-type polishers on the textured surfaces.

Just use a lint-free towell with a little soap and water to clean the surfaces.

I'm using a Black Magic Pro-Shine Protectant. It's only like the second time I've used it but I can definately see marks and uneveness from using it. I'm going to purchase some better products as I am getting more into my car care but wasn't sure of any products to use on the door panels/dash.

I clean the interior with the 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover. It leaves no residue behind and works great on doors, dashboard, console, trim, fabrics and more. If you want UV protection we have several different products that work great. If you want a really matte finish try the 303 Aerospace Protectant. If you want a little more gloss try the Poorboy's World Natural Look. Apply these products on a microfiber towel and then spread them evenly over the surface. If you would like any other recommendations please let me know.

Do this if you can't get any of the products from Detailed Image.

303 is the absolute best stuff I've ever used. I now use their entire line of products.

When I was younger I was more into super shiny, wet looking finish that armor-all type products leave, but now I just want it clean and subtle. With those types of products you can't really even touch the interior pieces because it gets so greasy. 303 will basically leave the finish OEM like it just rolled off the assembly line (read: not magic, will not fix scratches, etc).

A little spendy, but highly recommenced!
