I believe my generalization truly encompasses us all when I say we're pretty fortunate. To be participating on an auto enthusiast forum means two things: 1. You have a computer. 2. You have a pretty nice ride. While this may not seem like a lot, it's a dream to some.

With that said, for this giveaway we will be collaborating with Feed the Children. While we're enjoying luxuries such as nice vehicles and top quality car care products, we have to step back and realize there are those vying for the necessity of food and shelter.

Very nice, an excellent way to do some good and possible win some good products. Sometimes all the little contributions add up to a positive difference. I drop off my free from bags of dog food I get from PetCo after purchasing 10 bags. I tend to have more compassion for animals than people, but kids trump all.

 

I don't mind donating to companies like this but I can tell you that from that $20 a month that people donate and recieve a picture of the kid, only about a dollar makes it to the kid which is pretty sad. It's a hard concept for most to understand but the fact is that the world is full of people making money of the poor, look into CheckIntoCash places which are modern day loan sharks. Just my 2 cent. Do some research and you will see what is really going on

Thats why I drop off donations straight to where I want them to go versus organizations which use 60% percent of the donation for their salaries and overhead.
