Default Zaino (finally)

Well, I got my Zaino kit in (ordered extra Z-6 and tire gloss) and wanted to start the day it came in. Had a death in the family and drove the wife's Maxima 1500 miles, getting back today at 4 p.m. Finally get back after driving 10 hours and guess what I do after I wash and wax my wife's car?

Yep, had to start on the Z. All I had time for was stripping the old wax, washing with Z-7 (no need to clay, haven't drove the car since last claying). Anyway, after I dried the car, I applied the Z-6, and boy let me tell you, that stuff smells great. I have used detail sprays before, but their is something about this spray that makes it glide on and off. It made my whole car looks so shiny, and I haven't applied the Z-2 with ZFX and Z-5 yet.

I cannot wait until tomorrow to do the Z-2/Z-5 application. I'll post pics once I am done. I know PPW doesn't show as good as the darker colors but I hope at least I get mine looking better than it was.

Well enough of ranting and raving. I have a question for you folks about the Z-2/Z-5 with ZFX.

When I put the ZFX mixed with the Z-2/Z-5 can't remember, (paper is in the garage). I know I put light coats and apply up and down rather than side to side. My question is this. When I buff that out, do I buff out the same way. And when apply the Z-6 do I buff out up and down? I take it no more circular motion on getting this stuff out? Is that correct?

First of all, you may already know this but just in case, you apply the Z-5 BEFORE the Z-2. You wrote it the other way around. You don't HAVE to use Z-5 but if you are filling in swirls you should. Then you should finish off with Z-2.

As for application, you do the horizontal parts of the car (roof, hood etc) from side to side (i.e. start at the right front fender and go to the left front fender) and you do the vertical parts (doors fenders) up and down. You sort of blend the two together (hood and fenders).

You can take it off any way you want. Circular motion is fine but make sure you have a good microfiber towel with no junk on it to avoid swirls.
