Default Rock Chip

Got my first Rock chip from the highway, not noticeable to others, but noticeable to me lol. Was wondering if anyone has had experience using the paint pens with one side paint and the other clear coat. Does it go on evenly? What are your recommendations? I know that I could always put the invisible bra, but do they even put the bra on the hood as well?

This is not a unique 370Z question. Plenty of touch-up paint recommendations in the detailing forum.

After the rock chips are corrected, better get XPEL Clear Bra paint and headlight protection to keep rock chips from coming back.

Thumbs up

Here is another idea. How about putting some Carbon Film on the paint. That will hid the chips and make a big, kick butt change to your vehicle. I'm putting some of that carbon film on my buds '05 Evo today.

forget the touch up paint pen. they're only good for really really small rock chips. just invest in the clear bra film.

get the regular fingernail polish style touch up paint, apply in very light coats. Install the clear bra afterwards to prevent more if you are really worried about it. I have the clear bra on my car and like it
