How Do You Keep The Z Clean During Winter?
For those of you that drive your Z in the winter time, I was curious how you keep it clean since you can't just wash it by hand in almost freezing weather.
I either take it to those DIY hand wash places, which gives me enough time to wash the car before the water freezes. I do get frost bite though.
At home, i do a section of the car at a time using a 3 gallon flower watering pot. Water does freeze within a couple of minutes. Once I am done washing, I move my ice covered car into my cramped garage. I then go over each section with enough water to melt the ice and then I instantly dry. I don't have a drain in my garage so I use the water sparingly. This was my weekly routine last winter, but I also rolled the car up on ramps so i could soap/rinse the underbelly.
