I doubt if all your clear coat is removed, it would take a huge amount of buffing with a machine and a strong rubbing compound to remove all the clear coat in one area.

I was going to try and use Z5 on the bumpers where the damage was done, do you think this will bring back the shine?

If you have dull spots take Kevins advice and use the 3M products.

After a recent screw up with my hood.....the 3M swirl mark remover along with a orbital buffer brought it back shinier than it came from the factory.
I've used some other abrasive polishes and the 3M stuff is GOOD!

BTW Zaino products don't have abrasives and whatever your finish looks like before the Zaino is how it will look after it.....in other words if it is dull before it will be dull after.
Use a light abrasive like the 3M swirl mark remover before Zainoing that area.

There were a lot of scratches on the back bumpers. It looked like someone took a razor blade and went to work on it. The scratches wasn't that deep but I knew they were there. I wanted to see if I could get them off, they're gone alright but I have a whole new problem. I can't win.
