just as the subject says. I usually wipe down my car with Meguiars final inspection once every 4 days or so from all the dried up water spots and natural crap that bombards my car. well lately, i noticed after wiping down my car, my car starts to develop a slight haze. I try to wipe it off again with the quick detail spray but it comes back up again after a few mins. i even try to buff it out with a dry MF towel, but it just spreads the haze around. after about 2 days or so it eventually goes away little by little. Usually around a constant 60-65 degrees in my garage so i don't think temps are to be blamed. any help/ideas??
I have seen that if you go many days without washing the car but are using a detail spray on it for several days, the detailer spray builds up and can cause this smearing or haze. Just wash the car with car wash and water and I think it will go away.
I mist with water after the Z6. Do it just like the Z6. Helps avoid the smear and the streaks I get with the Cali Duster if the Z6 is too heavy or building up between washes.

I believe that I read on Zaino's site that it is permissible to mix distilled water and Z-6 50-50. They claim this helps to make the Z6 go farther, because people (myself especially included) tend to use too much. Does anyone do this and what are your results? I am just wandering if that would eliminate the haze problem described in this post, that I too have experienced.

washed my car the other day... and QD'd the car and the hazing it gone... i think it was just some build up on the car.
EDIT: hmmm.. used the CA duster to take off some dust. (darn washing machines) anyways, i decided to QD my hood too since there were a bunch of fingerprints.. low and behold... that area started to haze after a few mins... i guess its the paraffin wax from the CA duster thats causing it. should i wash my duster or just wrap it in newspaper again?

I use Mother's California Gold Detailing Spray on my Z. It says on the bottle that when it starts getting hard to remove, it means you're due for a new coat of wax...perhaps that could be the problem.
