Default What kind of 'sponge' do you use to wash your car?

Hi,

I would like to know what kind of sponge everyone uses to wash their car with.

What kind of sponge or pad do you use to wash your Z with?

I use Zaino Z-7 car wash with a 'detail' sponge I bought at a auto parts store.

I have not seen any swirl marks from ysing this sponge yet, but I am sure there is a better product out there.......

Thanks in advance
Ant

Get rid of the sponge, Sal Zaino and myself recommends you do not use a sponge of any type, either plastic or natural to wash your car with. They have no nap and any particle or piece of trash or grit on your car from driving in the rain or dust becomes an abrasion factor between the sponge and the paint that can cause scratches.

Sal uses cotton toweling to wash with but I like to use an all cotton washing mit, NAPA has all cotton wash mits that you can put your hand in.

I use a cotton mitt. Don't put a sponge to your car. BAD-BAD.
