Anyway better to wipe off my car than a chamois?
I did an experiment where I took The Absorber and the Big Blue drying towel and soaked them for a sufficient amount of time, fully immersed in water. Then, I hung each product to drip dry for about 5 minutes and lightly shook, until no more drips were coming off the products. Then I weighed them both and subtracted the original "dry" weight from the final "wet" weight. Here are the results:
DRY weight
The Absorber - 6.2 ounces
Big Blue - 7.7 ounces
WET weight
The Absorber - 13.70 ounces
Big Blue - 35.50 ounces
Weight of water absorbed:
The Absorber - 8.4 ounces
Big Blue - 27.80 ounces
"Absorbtion factor"
The Absorber - 1.35x absorbency by weight
Big Blue - 3.61x absorbency by weight
If you do the math - the Big Blue towel absorbed OVER ONE LITER of water!!! Case closed.

i purchased 2 big blue car towels and a 3pack of microfibre towels and they are everything i need to dry the Z. I heard of people drying multiple cars with big blues, but i needed 2 to finish the Z. Works great and no scratches.

I just ordered a Bigblu. I will get it in 2-9 days and I will post my impressions on it then. Thanks, Jeff
PS: I might try those other suggestions to later. Heck ,if it is cheap enough, why not try 2 methods!

I use the Cali Car Blade first and get the majority of water off the car and I finish with the waffle weave MF drying towels from Autopia.
The URL for the autopia store is: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/
Here is the direct link to the towels I use to dry: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/mf-200.html
They are fantastic. Not a single streak and you can do the whole car and if you water balde first, you don't ever have to wring out the towel.

I have found that useing a water blade works great on my sliverstone roadster. I then use a leaf blower to get all the water that remains off. I tried it on my wifes black car and had great result useing both methods. Also found that if you take the nozzle of the hose to rinse the car most of the water will sheet off and elimnate a lot of the water spots
I use the CA water blade for the large areas first, then go over what ever i miss with the absorber. no water spots. wash the absorber as directed to make sure it stays clean.
