I try to wash her once a week, wax every 3 months, clay bar every 6 months, compound+polish every year(depending on the condition).

I clean my Z whenever it needs it. I usually use Adam's Waterless Wash or ONR. It usually gets cleaned twice a week.

Try to wash every three or four weeks and wax in the spring and late fall.

Wash weekly
Wax monthly
RainX monthly
Full interior detail monthly
Claybar quarterly

Wow vash that is amazing for 5 years! Mines only 3 and doesn't even look close to that!

I wash every week but my garage and the roads here in norcal are pretty dusty. Dust is my only real problem and I will buy a car cover soon. Other than that I try to wash weekly and I use just plain old turtle wax. I will claybar/polish soon though I have a couple of small scratches on the hood.

Noob question but do any of you use any kind of soap to wash the car? To date I haven't only because I am afraid it will do something to the paint that I can't see with the naked eye or something.

mine gets washed almost weekly if it isn't raining. i quickly clean the inside and out including the inside of the rims. I seal the car almost monthly. It stays in pretty good shape. The white helps to make it not look too dirty

Bad.

Rain water does not make a car clean, please. So you'll spend the $ to buy a $30k car, but not spend the 75 cents (amortized cost for soap and water) and 30 minutes to wash your car? The dealer washes around here are a joke.

I have been using Poorboy's World Super Slick & Suds from Detailed Image. I've been using this for the past couple of years and try to wash my car weekly.

I wash it before I drive it, spray wax if I'm in a rush or hand wax if I have time.
