usually about once a month. car is garaged though so just dusting it every few days help keep the dirt off. washing it every week is a waste of time and unnecessary at that. Usually, I try to wash and wax it about every 6-7 months give or take.
Once Bi-weekly... I do the interior every other day. I wax every 3 months, Polish & clay bar every 6 months. Take off the wheels to clean the wheel wells, do the inner barrels, polish the lips every month. Clean the headliner and leather every month as well. I detail the engine every other wash. I use to do this professionally so I doesnt take me as long as one may think. I use Griot's for most everything.

dusting sounds great to me. i should try this. thanks
Oh, boy. I have to admit I haven't washed my Z once yet. The dealer washes it when they change the oil every 5 months or so. I always forget to tell them they don't have to do that. I do clean the glass all around (including the headlights and mirrors) every so often.
The car lives in the garage, and the occasional drive in hard rain is pretty good at keeping it clean.
I've washed my Arctic White '00 Silverado twice since it was new. The last time was after a trip near the beach in 2004. It has a wonderful patina from staying outside that discourages people from brushing up against it.
And it's about the same for the wife's '03 Accord.
Washing cars isn't high on my list of things to do or have done. I've got more important and enjoyable things to do with my time and my money.
I'll be wearing my asbestos undies for a while.

i wash my car every saturday morning (interior/exterior). smoke is a bad habit and leaves ash everywhere! i use meguiars quick wax every week. wax every quarter and full claybar session bi-annually. i've noticed that quick wax helps keep the car clean longer and it smells like gummy bears!!!

lol i have that too! i'm a big meguiar's fan. been going through all their product. Usually after the wash i go over with ultimate quick detail, follow'd by the quick wax. sometimes i wonder whats in that bottle, and if i just paid for distilled water lol
heres some of the arsenal and a detail job i did recently for my cousins girlfriend.

I used to wash her every week when she was a DD, garaged now I wash her every couple of months. Also I did not know the CA duster causes scratches...I am going to try and use the spray detailer with microfiber when she gets a little dusty.
