Come again?

You will be okay Zainoing over the clear bra if thats what your asking. I am not sure by what you mean by "wet clear bra?"

I have a full clear bra and I use Zaino with no problems. Just watch the claybar over the edges on the hood.

Do not Zaino before putting a clea bra on. The clear bra specialist should clean the surface before he bigins the process.

sorry. What i meant is the Black Bra. Like the COlgan Bra or Nissan Black Bra.
They said if the bra is wet and left on the car for too long would cause the paint to damage or cloudiness on the paint.

So i wonder if Zaino would at least could prevent that or Cure it.

Yes, it could help a little, but I would never recommend leaving a wet bra on your car.

My previous car was a Black Grand Am, I had only 1 coat of Zaino on the hood, bumper, etc. and left the bra on all the time (in warm weather). When I took it off, belive it or not, the finish under the bra was in BETTER shape than the rest of the car. You could see a very distinct line where the bra ended...go figure..UV protection?

If you can, go for a clear bra.

I used to have a '94 325i a few years ago, and stupidly I left the black leather bra on for almost two months. In that span of time it rained and I washed my car dozens of times. When I removed the bra, the paint was cloudy and the BMW logo was faded! Luckily, I went to a detail shop and they took care of it. Also, rocks can get trapped under the bra and will scratch up your paint.

So, if you can, definitely spend a few extra bucks for the clear bra

well another vote for clear bra. those other bras just seem like they themselves look 10x worse than any rock chips you could possibly get... your protecting paint that you cant see anyway because you have a big black cover on it. like putting couch covers on your furniture so you dont stain it.

Im not so sure that zaino will protect the paint to that extent tho. its a strong protectant, but thats asking alot of it.

the problem is that it's too late for me to put on the Clear Bra Because i have a minor stone chips on the Front Bumpre already and 1 or 3 Very Small Chips. So i thought just to Prevent a further Stone chip i might just use the Black Bra first.

But of course i only use the black Bra during my long trip.

And most of the time i'm using just the Hood Cover (Colgan Bra).

So when the rains happen on the day, i'll take the bra off right away after i got home. and let the Bra Dry.

I have seen the Clear Bra mentioned all over the forum. Help, what is a clear bra, I already have two small chips in the front.

I agree. I sort of don't "get" the black bras. They are supposed to keep the car looking nice, but they themselves look ugly. It seems like "I must make the car ugly to keep it beautiful".

Between the look, the potential for paint damage (abrasion) etc, it seems like you would be better off with nothing at all.

Also, I think a clear bra CAN go over some minor chips. If the chips are too big you could always fill em with touchup paint and polish it out smooth before applying the clear bra.
