21 hours and sponsors are not in on this with the Extreme Lustre Deluxe Package? Regular $129.99 now only $29.99 plus $19.95 shipping and handling! They are slipping.

BTW what ever happened to Zaino? Remember when it was the rage? You bought 4 bottles at $20 each, and mixed Z1 with Z2, and Z2 with Z3, them followed 5 application steps?

The finish was amazing but it wasn't practical... you get the same shine, depth, and protection from just a Griot's Machine 3 polish and Best of Show.

Wow 23 hours and 3 posts later in the same thread and you have not posted anything condescending or a picture with a search button on it. What is the world coming to. You are slipping.

I have 45000 miles on my z as of right now, and it's my daily driver. It's a 2006 and I am also the original owner.

Wow, wax every week? That is excessive in my opinion but your car does look absolutely amazing. What kind of waxes are you using?

I polish and wax every 3 months and clay bar the car every 6 months.

Polishing twice a year is the norm. You'd want to wax more than twice a year though since even the best sealants/waxes give only 3 months of protection.

There is no norm. Caring for a 30,000 miles/year daily driver is considerably different than a 5,000 miles/year Garage Queen.

Here's mine after 2 coats of Meguiars.

I do have a question. How do you guys clean or wash your car after you've just waxed it a week prior to? Do you simply just wash as normal? Does that remove any of the wax?

yes just simply wash your car, it does not remove the wax. Length of time the wax will stay on your car will depend on how well you prepped the surface, what kind of product you used and how long your car stays out in the hot sun.

if you wax your car more than one time per month, you are over doing it. get a nice quality expensive sealant and you are good. some of these people who over waxes have tons of swirls and scratches all over .

Not really, there are folks who wax their cars more frequently because they want the glossiest look possible, not necessarily for the protection.

This is more of a result of unproperly prepping the panels not over waxing.

When the water stops beading up and/or the towel doesn't slide nicely across it after a wash.

I need some new wax.. tried Turtle Wax Ice Synthetic spray.. and I think I did it wrong.. s$!+ was extremely difficult to buff off.. still have streaks, remenants..

I may go back to the Tek/Tech wax i was using before.. or I may try out the sponsor here and look for something special.

Turtle wax? That was your first mistake. Your better off getting a wax/sealant from Blackfire, Chemical Guys, Dodo Juice, or Pinnacle.

I waxed mine sometime in 2009. But I have not washed it in at least 18 months or so...
