The lips of my racing hart rims are covered with water stain. i purchased the rims used. Dunno what they are made of.
I tried Mother's Mag & polish, Meguiar's hot rim cleaner (purple), and soap and water. None of them worked.
How do i get rid of them?

Clay bar with detailing spray should do it. The lips usually have a clear coat over the polished aluminum. Trying to polish the clear coat with Mother's Mag would only damage it. Unless the original owner had the clear coat removed due to age, then Mother's Mag would work.

hope i didn't mess it up with Mag..
didn't look closely but it did shine a little after Mag use lol
Could you tell me how clay bar will get rid of super strong water stain? (looks like water stain, not sure if IT IS water stain)
i thought clay bar is used to get rid of small particles on the paint

Water spots/stains are caused by chlorine/metals/particles/brake dust etc. It's on the surface of the clear so the clay bar will work fine. If the lip is clear coated. If it's straight aluminum, once again Mother's Mag.

i'm going to SmartWax open house so i'll pick up some clay bars there.
This is little off topic. Which product should i use to clean wheel surfaces and lips when they get really dirty from chit from the road and brake dust? Some times it's hella hard to clean with soap and water.

Looks like the previous owner had already wet sanded them, then realized that it's a pain in the *** to keep "homemade" refurbished lips blemish free. Ask me how I know
The majority of that should buff out no problem with a quality metal polish. The P21S Finish Restorer or the P21S Metal Polishing Soap should work great. Let me know if you have any questions.

No mother's makes an okay polish, these should be a deeper cleaning. The P21S Finish Restorer is the deeper cleaning option so that may be your best bet. I'm pretty confident it should remove most of that stain, but certainly you never know for certain until you try. I use this each time I have a bad stain on the wheels, exhaust tips, trim, etc.

water stains on windshields etc.
The label says:
