Polished her up...
Went and bought a 7424 and some meguiars polish / sealant.
This was my first time ever doing something like this so obviously it can be improved alot still lol. It did however take out SOOOOO many scratches I had. I am definitely impressed and it was way worth the money.
Some guy decided to clear out their yard of brush and throw it in the street, I was following a big truck and he dodged it before I could... It left scratches from my passenger fender to my tail light. ALL of it was taken out.

I actually did that Xterra in the background first, my moms g37 is next.
The work is tedious but the outcome is ridiculous, that Xterra had not been detailed let alone washed but once or twice a year since 2000. Painted the bumpers back to black and it looks like new now.

It is tedious work, but you are right, the outcome is well worth it. If you want to further pursue detailing I would recommend checking out Meguiarsonline.com. It is by far the most friendly forum I have ever been apart of and there is a wealth of knowledge pertaining to detailing on their site. Happy detailing!

From what I have read make sure you are using a grit guard if possible with the 2 bucket method and keep your sponge / mitt rinsed thoroughly. I also try to avoid making any circle movements, I move in the direction the wind would flow over the panels.
