liquid finish... BLACKFIRE...
I am convinced that either BLACFIRE or Zaino can given an equal finish.. perhaps the BLACKFIRE is a little more liguid IMO.
However, if you have a swirl problem or need fill-in (which I don't) .... perhaps Zaino is the best...

Approximately 2 years ago on this site ... we were asking what is the best polish. Brad4hay, who is a noted detailer by profession and a member of this board, posted his comments that now mirror my own. He recommended both, at that time, but gave the thumbs up to BLACKFIRE for its wet look.
Well, I now have a lot of BLACKFIRE products ... but I have always wanted to try Zaino -- just to see the difference ... Temptation exists everywhere.
Reggi.. one more thing I neglected to mention...
-->> the ease of using BLACKFIRE... a 2-step process... while giving stellar results...
But as I mentioned.. it is always a case of wanting to know what's on the other side of the fence... is the other product really better ??

Looks great FairladyZ,
i might try this blackfire stuff too especially if it's easy on and off. It says though that it doesn't protect the car, do you re-wax over this stuff?? Or will that take away the blackfire finish?

Both are sweet. Durability goes to Zaino, but I like the application process and shine of Blackfire. I just like using it.

Who told you it does not protect the car ? BLACKFIRE definitely protects your car... same as Zaino.
I don't know what you were using before... but that would definitely affect how you "prep" your Z for BLACKFIRE. I can certainly comment... but would like the expert to step forward... since he posted here...
Brad4rdhay.... Brad -- your advice .... ?

IMO Blackfire's shine last longer, with no more maintenance than any of the other car waxes.
However, Zaino and Carnuba Waxes, applied correctly hide more scratches than Blackfire.
It's worth a try, worst thing is you might need to strip it off and start over.
I just applied blackfire yesterday. It is a lot more watery then the liquid "wax" i have used before. But once it dries up, it was very easy to buff off. it is the best product i have used to far.
